Dewey & Linda Anderson Recognized as Soda Springs Super Heroes

Anderson, Linda & Dewey

Dewey and Linda were nominated by their children Ryan, Terry, Jeff, Lori, Camille, Diana and Heidi. Dewey and Linda have spent a lifetime together giving of their time, resources, talents and support to a wide variety of community and state organizations and projects. A short list of service for Dewey would include, Lion's Club, Miss Caribou Pageant, Junior Miss, Bailey Creek Rodeo Chairman, Caribou County TV Translator Board, Fairview Cemetery Board, and SSHS Booster Extraordinaire! Linda has served as Chamber of Commerce President multiple times, Idaho Travel Council, Pioneer Travel Council, DUP President, Pioneer Museum Volunteer, and has sung for hundreds of community member funerals.

In addition to the above mentioned service the couple has supported nearly every community sponsored play or event by either selling tickets or providing space for ticket sales, out of their Sanders location in Soda Springs. Serving early morning breakfasts, singing in musicals or community choirs, preparing food for and selling concessions for countless Little and Pony League tournaments, donating merchandise for any worthy cause, delivering “Santa” furniture gifts on Christmas day, all are reasons Dewey and Linda are Soda Springs Super Heroes.

The Mayor and City Council are honored to recognize Dewey and Linda as Soda Springs Super Heroes. Dewey and Linda and their family are truly a community treasure.
